[Opinion] Who is Banji Okunomo?

Banji Okunomo is: 

A man of integrity... 

A man, free of corruption...

A man you can't rubbish...

Mr Employment...

Ondo State is blessed to have a man like Banji Ben Okunomo popularly known as BBO for such a time like this. 

In 2011, Okunomo was described by the former governor as a resourceful young leader with a wealth of progressive philosophy, and he was made the Chairman of the Local Government of Ilaje from 2011 to 2013. 

Before Okunomo became Chairman of the local government of Ilaje, unemployment was at its height in the local government. Graduates of his local government were walking down the streets crying. His caring heart does not allow him to see the pain of men. Okunomo had to sit down to search for a way to find alternatives to this epidemic of unemployment to human misery.

What he discovered will never allow Ondo State indigenes to forget him. He was the one that discovered that tens of millions of Naira were going to private pockets monthly. Millions of Naira were been paid to ghost workers, unborn kids, maids, etc. at the expense of the jobless people. Okunomo blocked those loopholes and leakages. Instead of him to steal and convert these hundreds of millions of Naira for his personal use as many others have been doing in the country. He rather used the money that he saved from the exercise for recruitment of three hundred and forty-four (344) people into the service of Ilaje local government. These people are still in service of Ilaje LG as we speak. You can imagine the positive multiplier effect on thousands of homes till today. This is why he's loved by all.  He did what no one has ever done in the history of Ondo State. This endeared him to the Governor of Ondo State. This is just one of his many antecedents.

Do not let us forget what Jesus Christ said, that he who is faithful in little will be faithful in much.

BBO remains the best among all the aspirants. Let every man tell us what he has done and how many lives they have touched and we will tell you more that BBO has done and is doing. No man has the legacy of Banji Ben Okunomo. BBO remains Primus inter pares, meaning, the first among equals!

He reiterated his position that he is contesting to become the next Governor of Ondo State under People's Democracy Party (PDP) in order to harness the State’s enormous human and natural resources to buoy its economic fortunes and enhance the living standards of the people. This is no boast. This is what BBO has a blueprint for.
